Data Engineer (Healthcare Data Integration Specialist)

Requirements

• Someone who’s comfortable working with Mirth Connect and has experience with healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR, CCDA, etc.)
• Strong Python or JavaScript skills to script and automate workflows
• A “just do it” attitude, because hesitation is defeat

Responsibilities

• Setting up, managing, and fine-tuning data pipelines using Mirth, HL7, FHIR, CCDA, DFT, and XML formats
• Collaborating with our clinical and engineering teams to make sure healthcare data flows smoothly (no traffic jams allowed)
• Experimenting, making mistakes (because that’s part of how we roll), and improving our systems as we go
• Keeping everything HIPAA-compliant because, well, that’s important
• Helping us figure things out as we break and rebuild systems together
