Data Engineer Intern

Summary

Join Mark43's paid summer internship program for engineering students graduating in Spring/Summer 2025. The program runs from June 3rd to August 26th, 2025. Interns will be fully integrated into the team, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data systems. The ideal candidate will have completed their junior year and possess prior internship experience building enterprise software. The internship offers hands-on mentorship, the opportunity to work on mission-critical software, and collaboration with various teams. Compensation is $45/hour (USD).

Requirements

• Be an engineering student graduating in the Spring/Summer of 2025
• Have completed your junior year before starting the internship
• Be authorized to work for any employer in the country in which the role is being hired

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to understand requirements for new data features
• Utilize technologies such as SQL and Python
• Own technical solutions for data products or subsets
• Improve the architectural strategy of our data platform to meet the growing needs of our customer base
• Test out new technologies and contribute to discussions on improving our engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior internship experience building enterprise software
• Have exposure to technologies such as DMS, Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambdas, PySpark, Google Looker, Terraform
