Join Harrow, a leading North American ophthalmic pharmaceutical company, as a Pharmacovigilance Data Entry Associate. Under the guidance of the Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist, you will provide frontline support for medical information and pharmacovigilance intake activities through the Medical Information and Communication Center (MICC). This role involves receiving, documenting, and triaging inbound phone calls and emails related to medical inquiries, product quality complaints, and adverse event reports. Accuracy, discretion, and professionalism are essential. You will be responsible for documenting inquiries and reports accurately, performing basic triage, following communication protocols, supporting administrative tasks, and engaging in ongoing training. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred; associate’s degree or relevant coursework is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow procedures accurately
- Willingness to grow knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles and compliance expectations
Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to inbound phone calls and emails concerning Harrow’s ophthalmic products
- Document inquiries and reports accurately in the MICC system using standardized forms and workflows
- Perform basic triage and ensure cases are appropriately routed to designated PV staff
- Follow scripted responses and communication protocols to ensure compliance and consistency
- Support administrative PV tasks such as data entry, and record keeping
- Engage in ongoing training regarding product knowledge and PV regulatory procedures
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, or a call center environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred; ability to learn PV systems (e.g., MICC)
