Data Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

The job is for a foundational member of Onehouse's Data Infrastructure team who will build and optimize the next generation of their data tech stack. The role involves designing new concurrency control and transactional capabilities, implementing optimization solutions, and collaborating with other engineers to deploy these solutions.

Requirements

• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (Java and/or C/C++ preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform)
• Experience with inner workings of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases

Responsibilities

• Productionize the next generation of Onehouse's data tech stack by building software and data features
• Accelerate Onehouse's open source <> enterprise flywheel by working on Apache Hudi's transactional engine
• Act as a SME to deepen the team's expertise on database internals, query engines, storage, and/or stream processing
