Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Proficient in Python for data extraction, processing, and automation tasks
  • Experienced in extracting data from APIs and webhooks using Python
  • Skilled in ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency during extraction and processing
  • Knowledgeable in using Jenkins (groovy) for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of data workflows
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical insights effectively
  • Committed to staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and self-learning capabilities
  • Passion for your work, accustomed to handling confidential environments, with a serious and professional profile
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skill

Responsibilities

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data extractions
  • Create Python scripts to extract data from APIs and webhooks
  • Implement error handling and exception management during the extraction process
  • Design and develop data processing pipelines to transform and clean extracted data
  • Integrate extracted data with internal or external systems as required
  • Ensure data consistency and quality during integration
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate script and application deployment
  • Design and configure workflows in N8N to automate tasks and processes
  • Integrate N8N with other tools and services to enhance functionality
  • Develop and execute automated tests to validate data integrity and process reliability
  • Implement alerts and notifications for errors or failures in automated processes
  • Use services like BigQuery for data storage and analysis
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Cloud Dataflow and Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Ensure system scalability to handle increased demand
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions. Participate in meetings and planning sessions to align technical efforts with business objectives
  • Technical Communication: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions
  • Find innovative solutions to challenging problems
  • Understand business needs in order to develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in automating workflows using N8N or similar for integration with various services (not essential) is also a plus
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Knowledge is also a plus
  • Interest in AI is also a plus
