Summary

Join ELEKS Quality Assurance Office as a Middle/Senior Data Quality Engineer in Poland or Croatia! Work with the world's largest law firm, impacting global data operations. Maintain and improve efficient testing processes for new developments and bug fixes. Ensure testing is repeatable and adaptable to various data sources. Conduct data comparisons and utilize advanced tools like Excel, DAX, and SQL to resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to enhance data quality and testing strategies. Guide Data Insight users in their testing efforts and provide feedback.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data quality engineering
  • Experience with ETL testing
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with data projects
  • Experience with Power query and Power BI
  • Initiative and proactive position
  • Ability to adapt to project changes during the project flow
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and finesse an efficient testing process to enable new development / bug fixes to be comprehensively tested before released into production
  • Ensure that testing processes can be repeated and are adaptable to various regional data sources
  • Document all testing activities, outcomes, and analyses comprehensively
  • Tester should always have an awareness of the business impact of the test results – what impact will deploying this change have on Production both in Regional and Global reporting
  • Conduct data comparisons between regional and global datasets to verify accuracy
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, DAX or SQL queries to reconcile data discrepancies
  • Validate testing approach and completeness with development team and Manager to ensure testing evidences that the solution being provided meets the business need
  • Work with the PM to improve the quality of the change request documentation from analysts and stakeholders, to include clearly identified guidance of evidence of success, to enable comprehensive testing to be undertaken
  • Work with Data Insight users to guide their own testing and respond to feedback from that community, liaising with developers as appropriate
