Data Science Beta Tester

Summary

Join SweetRush's Talent Solutions team as a freelance Data Science Beta Tester! This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA. You will beta-test a new online data science course, providing valuable feedback to improve its quality. The role involves 25 hours of work, with 20 hours dedicated to course completion and 5 hours for feedback. The hourly rate is negotiable. Requirements

• You must have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a data analytics or data science role
• A strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of data science, including linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory
• A solid grasp of fundamental statistical concepts
• Proficiency in at least one core data science language, such as Python or R
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for providing clear, actionable feedback
• You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Actively complete all course materials, including video lectures, hands-on exercises, and quizzes
• Provide in-depth feedback on the course content, clarity, and effectiveness
• Evaluating the logical flow, explanations, and examples
• Scrutinizing code, mathematical formulas, and data analysis concepts for any errors
• Taking all quizzes and final assessments and providing feedback on their relevance and difficulty
• Proactively identify and document any technical issues, typos, or inconsistencies in a clear and concise manner
• Assess the usability of the course platform, including its navigation and layout
• Participate in structured surveys and a potential final interview to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the course

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with self-paced, online learning environments is a plus
