Data Scientist, AI Engineer

Summary

Join Bosch as a key enabler for digitalization for Engineering and Manufacturing at ME. You will drive the design and implementation of application data models, implement data that satisfy the needs of the ME ECU business requirements, and work with different types of data, data sources, infrastructure, and existing building blocks in our ECU Engineering data platform. You will create and operate automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and integration, implement strategies to ensure defined data quality standards and data linage, and develop automated integration and orchestration of data architectures and pipelines for manufacturing and engineering solutions and AI model deployment.

Requirements

• Completed university studies (master's degree or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a comparable subject
• Proven knowledge and experience in developing cloud-based solutions; ideally with several years experience in software development with a focus on data pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Scala or Java and proficiency with data-lake providers (Azure Databricks preferred)
• Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiar with streaming solutions (e.g. Apache Kafka and Flink)
• Knowledge of data management concepts, pipeline deployment and data provisioning
• Excellent problem-solving skills, team spirit, and ability to work collaboratively in a global team
• Very good communication skills in written and spoken English and Hungarian

Responsibilities

• You will drive the design and implementation of application data models
• You will implement data that satisfy the needs of the ME ECU business requirements
• You will work with different types of data, data sources, infrastructure, existing building blocks (e.g. APIs, micro services, ...) in our ECU Engineering data platform
• You will create and operate automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation and integration
• You implement strategies to ensure defined data quality standards and data linage
• In addition, you will be responsible for developing automated integration and orchestration of data architectures and pipelines for manufacturing and engineering solutions and AI model deployment
