Summary

Join our team as a Data Scientist and help us build and maintain our next generation data infrastructure. As an early hire on our data team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to design and execute effective data science initiatives, ML modeling, and BI analysis.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS or GCP

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to design, refine, and deploy data pipelines that feed models and analytics processes
  • Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports that communicate complex analyses in a clear and actionable manner using tools like Tableau or other BI platforms
  • Perform data analysis and modeling to support advanced analytics
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business and its needs, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to take projects from conceptualization to deployment, with an aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences in an understandable and engaging manner
  • Familiarity with data engineering tools and concepts, and a strong understanding of how data models and pipelines support advanced analytics
  • Experience with best practices for tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and version control to ensure robust, reproducible analyses
