Join Reddit's Ads Data Science team as a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist. You will play a key role in developing and applying cutting-edge data science models to improve the advertising platform's performance. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and build impactful solutions. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights, develop machine learning models, and communicate findings to stakeholders. This remote-friendly position requires a strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experience with large-scale data processing. Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, causal inference and experimental design
• Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive; knowledge of BigQuery a plus
• Proficiency in Python or R and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for Reddit and the online advertising industry

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and apply DS solutions to inform improvements in advertiser experience as well as Reddit ad platform & marketplace performance
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve the effectiveness of our advertising platform
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and translate them into data science solutions
• Develop ML models & DS methods to improve anomaly detection, prediction & pattern recognition
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning and data science

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online advertising and ad tech
• Experience with causal inference and A/B testing
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals
