Data Scientist

Summary

Join Shift Technology's Data Science team as an intern and contribute to the development of AI-powered insurance solutions. You will implement data processing pipelines, collaborate with clients, and participate in research and development using machine learning and other advanced technologies. This internship offers a potential transition to a permanent position. The ideal candidate is completing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possesses strong programming, analytical, and communication skills. Requirements

• You are completing or have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science (knowledge in machine learning and/or Big Data is an advantage)
• You have experience in object-oriented programming
• You combine strong analytical skills with synthesis capabilities and are not afraid of details
• You can write high-quality production code
• You feel comfortable interacting with clients
• You can communicate clearly in English
• You are bilingual in Spanish or Spanish is your mother tongue

Responsibilities

• Implement and deploy data processing pipelines for our clients, including batch and real-time processing, data cleaning, and calibration of fraud detection models
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and feedback, ensuring that our solutions meet their requirements
• Participate in research and development activities to drive innovation in our products using advanced technologies such as machine learning, image analysis, natural language processing, and trend analysis
