Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in data acquisition, partnerships, or a similar role within the marketing industry and/or financial services industry
- Deep understanding of consumer and financial data, including data assets and technology providers
- Proven success in negotiating complex agreements and managing vendor relationships
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential new financial data partnerships to enrich Experian’s data offerings
- Collaborate with strategy and product teams to align data acquisition efforts with business needs and strategic goals
- Oversee testing, licensing, and integration of new data assets into Experian’s systems
- Build and manage relationships with diverse data providers, including aggregators, Direct to Consumer companies, niche providers, and public data sources
- Negotiate and execute data licensing agreements and vendor contracts
- Proactively manage vendor compliance, renewals, and performance reviews
- Partner with legal and privacy teams to ensure data partnerships comply with relevant regulations and Experian standards
- Monitor data use to uphold privacy standards and mitigate risks
- Implement cost management initiatives to optimize ROI on data spend
