Join us in leading a pivotal IT implementation project focusing on data governance, integrity, and quality management within a fast-growing international consulting firm. As a Data SME, you will champion data governance and configure ServiceNow to meet the complex needs of large-scale organizations. This role requires expertise in data management, developing governance frameworks, and setting data standards. You will work fully remote with a flexible schedule, enjoying a healthy work-life balance within a stable, multinational company located in the UK. The position offers a 9-12 month contract collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 7+ years of experience as Data Subject Matter Expert
• 5 year of experience across 3-4 projects on ServiceNow especially on the ITSM module
• Experience in data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute dynamic data governance frameworks to ensure data remains accurate, consistent, and trustworthy
• Design and uphold robust data standards, classifications, and policies that align seamlessly with organizational goals
• Pinpoint key data metrics and KPIs to monitor and elevate data quality throughout the project lifecycle
• Define data configurations, workflows, and structures that bolster strong data management practices
• Dive into configuring data management features within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with project needs and industry best practices
• Lead the charge in integrating ServiceNow data with other systems, guaranteeing seamless data flow and reducing redundancy
• Partner with cross-functional teams to bring data management requirements to life, ensuring they're both understood and effectively implemented
• Deliver engaging training sessions and create clear documentation on data standards, processes, and governance frameworks to keep the team in compliance
• Team up with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to tackle data-related risks and align on data goals for success
• Proactively identify and tackle data-related risks, dependencies, and issues, crafting solutions to mitigate potential project impacts
• Continuously review and evaluate data management processes, suggesting enhancements to boost data quality and streamline operations

• Expert knowledge of data management practices within ServiceNow
• Proficiency in data governance tools and data quality monitoring techniques
