Summary
Join Experian, a global leader in data and technology, as an accomplished Database Administrator. Reporting to Experian Health, you will play a vital role in preparing databases for AWS migration, supporting data cleanup, optimizing data usage, and collaborating with partners. This crucial role ensures accurate data integration and analysis. You will improve queries, reduce database calls, and minimize dependencies. You will also perform regular backups, implement security measures, conduct performance tuning, and maintain documentation. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in database administration, SQL/NoSQL databases, and healthcare revenue cycle management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years' experience in SQL and NoSQL databases required
- 7+ years' experience with database optimization, query tuning, and performance monitoring
- 7+ years' experience in database security and backup/recovery procedures and in a Database Administrator or similar role
- 3+ years' experience within healthcare revenue cycle required
- 3+ years' of experience with data integration tools or platforms
- 3+ years' experience with data warehousing concepts and practices
Responsibilities
- Improve queries, reduce the number of database calls, and minimize dependencies to prepare the databases for AWS migration
- Help the teams with discovery and data cleanup efforts
- Offer assistance and guidance for optimizing data usage
- Work and collaborate with multiple partners
- Perform regular backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient database operations
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
