Database Administrator Automation

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, a leading ICT employer in Hungary, as a Database Administrator. The Database Team manages various databases, including Oracle, Postgres, Crunchy Cluster, and MySQL, with future expansion to Cassandra and MS-SQL. You will be responsible for managing and implementing automation solutions in the database environment, planning and configuring automation systems, and working with tools like Gitlab, Openshift, Ansible, and AWX. Strong communication skills in English are essential. The role offers the possibility of remote work within Hungary.

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or have equivalent work experience in IT
• Possess at least 3-5 years of experience in managing and implementing automation solutions in the database environment
• Have experience in planning, installing, and configuring automation systems
• Have experience with Gitlab, Openshift, Ansible, AWX, Oracle, OLVM, Postgres, Crunchy
• Have experience with ServicePortal solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of agile methodologies

• Have experience with Jira, Confluence
• Possess a Microsoft Server products or Cloud services related MSFT certificate (e.g., MCP, MCSA, MTA)
