Datacap Specialist

Summary

Join our team as a Datacap Specialist and play a key role in the HFS Scan, Store, and Retrieve Project. You will lead the implementation and configuration of IBM DataCap within the DOIT environment, providing technical guidance and training to HFS personnel on document scanning workflows. Your responsibilities include integrating DataCap with IBM FileNet P8 for cloud-based document storage, developing custom actions or scripts as needed, troubleshooting workflows, and documenting technical setups. You will collaborate with stakeholders and provide regular progress updates. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in IBM DataCap design, deployment, and optimization
• Familiarity with IBM FileNet P8, IBM Content Navigator, and IBM Cloud integration
• Strong communication skills to support both technical setup and end-user training
• Ability to work independently and liaise with multiple functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of IBM DataCap within the DOIT environment
• Provide technical and user-level guidance to HFS teams for onsite document scanning workflows
• Integrate DataCap workflows with IBM FileNet P8 for cloud-based document storage and retrieval
• Assist with design and development of custom actions or scripts if needed (e.g., OCR tuning, data extraction)
• Troubleshoot scanning workflows and support user adoption during the initial rollout
• Document technical setup, workflow logic, and training materials
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates
