Summary
Join GuidePoint Security as a Delivery Coordinator and leverage your DFIR and GRIT process knowledge to support the Strategic Delivery Manager. You will ensure successful project delivery, foster client relationships, and improve delivery processes. Responsibilities include coordinating engagements, reviewing deliverables, supporting project management, and communicating project status. The role requires entry-level experience in project management, business analysis, and the DFIR/Threat Intelligence space, along with knowledge of various industry solutions and relevant certifications. Requirements
- Entry-level experience in project management and business analysis
- Entry-level experience working in the Digital Forensics & Incident Response and Threat Intelligence space
- Experience in a Consulting Services role
- Experience with Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Threat Intelligence methodologies and processes
- Understanding of: Network traffic analysis
- Host forensics
- Malware handling / triage
- Log review
- Attack Surface Monitoring
- Dark Web Intelligence, Searching & Monitoring
- Threat Modeling
- Knowledge of a variety of industry-related solutions including EDR, NDR, XDR, SIEM, FW, NGAV, Velociraptor, OSQuery, and others
- Relevant industry certifications, such as but not limited to PMI Certifications, SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or others
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
Responsibilities
- Operate as a coordination resource within the Practice and actively participate in DFIR & GRIT engagements
- Effective engagement communication, time management, and collaboration with peers
- Assist with coordination and review of comprehensive engagement deliverables that are tailored to both technical and managerial audiences
- Foster client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance
- Support the development and utilization of repeatable, automation, orchestration, and standardization of processes for delivery, improving overall efficiency, while also introducing new proficiencies to meet the rapidly changing needs and scalability of our client engagements
- Perpetually strengthen relevant skills, knowledge, and abilities to stay at the forefront of the information security industry
- Support the delivery of multiple ongoing projects, assist with effective execution, tracking of requirements, open tasks, ensure effective communications, and timely response to client needs and requests
- Communicate with the Strategic Delivery Manager and Practice Leadership weekly regarding status updates and strategies
- Assist with communication including status of project health and ensure the project is delivered within schedule and scope
- Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements
- Support delivery of the defined execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
- Assist with the documentation and maintenance of project related training and awareness materials and communications
- Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed throughout GuidePoint Security for all DFIR & GRIT projects. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
- Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected
- Maintain a strong desire to learn, adapt, and improve along with a rapidly-growing company
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience coordinating, planning, and delivering project roadmaps and timelines
- Some experience managing process improvement projects
