Summary

Join Designit as a Design Director and lead a multidisciplinary team in crafting exceptional experiences for diverse clients. You will define and implement design-led approaches for pre-sales, recruit and onboard new talent, and collaborate with account executives on high-value client engagements. This role requires overseeing multiple projects, facilitating workshops, and developing winning strategies. The compensation range is $189,713 to $200,000, based on experience and other factors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in designing and implementing digital applications, products, and services
  • Proficiency with software such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro, and Dovetail
  • Demonstrated expertise in design research, user experience design, service strategy, and defining design processes
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshops
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or Human-Centric Design

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary designers to define and implement a design-led approach for pre-sales motions
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new design talent as needed
  • Develop strategies to consistently win with a design-led approach by innovating on market engagement methods
  • Collaborate with internal account executives to shape and present design-led pitches and proposals for $100M+ transformation-focused client engagements
  • Determine strategy, approach, and investment levels for proposal creation
  • Lead the creation of overall client engagement models in collaboration with practice leaders to support pre-sales motions
  • Facilitate design-led workshops for clients and internal teams
  • Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they remain on track, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals
