Summary

Culture Brands is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support their editorial, design, and marketing teams in various design tasks. The intern should have strong design sensibilities, trend awareness, and care for quality and execution.

Requirements

  • Major in a graphic design field, completing junior or senior semester
  • A supporting portfolio of print and digital work, demonstrating strong compositional and typographical skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to keep learning new skills
  • Communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Must be located within the Washington, D.C. region

Responsibilities

  • Design printed and digital materials and merchandise, including concept and ideation, visual research, and creative assignments while following brand guidelines and best practices
  • Manage multiple projects, remaining flexible through multiple revisions while keeping keen attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Maintain brand integrity with logo use, messaging, imagery, across all materials and global versions, with consistency and cohesiveness
  • Provide support for team members as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Figma & Canva a plus
