Summary

Ware Malcomb is hiring a Designer to join their Interior Architecture & Design team in Oak Brook, IL or Downtown Chicago. The Designer will assist Project Managers by leading consultants and internal resources, maintain project drawings, process documentation during construction, and support the development of space planning concepts and creation of program documents. This is an entry level or junior Designer position with opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Preferred minimum of 1 years experience in the field of Interior Design. Will also consider recent graduates with strong design and Revit skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
• Revit skills
• Adobe Suite and Sketch-up skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager by leading consultants and internal resources
• Maintain project drawings
• Process documentation during construction
• Support and assist in the development of space planning concepts and creation of program documents
• Coordinate finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction with project team
• Provide AutoCAD and Revit support for the preparation of project documents
• Assist with the preparation of Field Verifications, BOMA calculations, as well as general AutoCAD support as each project requires
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb employees
