Summary
Join Darkroom, a rapidly growing marketing agency, as a Designer to shape the evolution of our brand and digital user experience. You will create marketing assets, design website content, and build responsive pages using Framer. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with brand and performance goals. This fully remote role, open to candidates in Portugal and Brazil, requires 3-4+ years of experience in web or marketing design and proficiency in Figma and Framer. You will contribute to a scalable design system and ensure visual excellence across all external-facing materials. Requirements
- Have 3-4+ years of experience in web, brand, or marketing design, ideally within a fast-paced creative environment or agency
- Possess a strong portfolio that showcases website layout, interactive design, and marketing collateral
- Are fluent in Figma, including use of components, auto layout, and systemized design workflows
- Have hands-on experience with Framer or similar no-code web platforms
- Understand UX principles, responsive behavior, animation basics, and component logic
- Are proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Think strategically and can tie visual design decisions to performance and brand goals
- Can communicate design intent clearly for development hand-off and collaborate with engineers when needed
- You understand how Marketing affects consumer psychology and behavior and you apply these principles to your design
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- You are self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for detail-oriented deliverables
- You understand how to turn ideas and discussions into actionable next steps
- You have a proven track record of collaborating with developers or engineers, and understand how to document your designs for development hand-off
Responsibilities
- Create marketing assets across paid media, organic, and social that are deeply aligned with the Darkroom brand system
- Maintain quality, consistency, and visual excellence across all external-facing materials
- Contribute to and maintain our Figma-based design system to ensure design scalability and cohesion
- Translate marketing objectives into design deliverables that support performance goals and strategic outcomes
- Design new case study pages, service modules and marketing content across our website
- Help shape user journeys and design for conversion, user clarity, and seamless experience across devices
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure design aligns with storytelling and brand experience
- Design visually engaging email layouts in Figma for newsletters and outbound campaigns
- Build and deploy high-quality, responsive website pages in Framer , including interaction design and animations
- Handle transitions, micro-interactions, and component responsiveness across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Continuously optimize site performance (speed, responsiveness) and contribute to A/B testing frameworks
