Development Of Apss - Space Isr Collection Tool

Summary

Join the NATO NCI Agency and contribute to the Alliance Persistent Surveillance from Space (APSS) program by developing a space ISR collection tool. This role involves enhancing the Aquila Management Service (AMS) for tasking and integrating commercial space-based ISR data. You will work off-site, using an Agile approach with 4-week sprints, delivering a tool to integrate APSS commercial space-based data. The position requires a NATO SECRET security clearance and specific technical and professional qualifications. Payment is milestone-based, at the end of each sprint.

Requirements

• Possess a valid NATO SECRET security clearance prior to the start of the engagement
• Have experience of working with commercial space based ISR capabilities
• Have experience of integrating commercial space based ISR tasking via API
• Have previous experience of NATO or National intelligence processes and systems
• Have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years)
• Demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team
• Demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Complete the activities/tasks agreed in each spring meeting
• Produce sprint completion reports (format: e-mail update), which include details of activities performed
• Deliver requirements document for implementation from operational users
• Deliver status inputs and reports (textual word documents) for monthly APSS NCIA planning and development meetings (remotely)
• Deliver a space ISR collection tool to integrate APSS commercial Space Based data
• Report the outcome of his/her work during the sprint, first verbally during the retrospective meeting and then in writing, within five (5) working days after the sprint’s end date
• Send a report in the format of a short email to NCI Agency POC briefly mentioning the work held and the achievements during the sprint

Preferred Qualifications

• Have desirable experience in working within commercial space based earth observation industry
• Have desirable experience working within or supporting NATO or National military
• Have desirable knowledge in NATO JISR systems, policy and doctrine
