Summary

The job is for a DevOps Engineer at SmartCoin, a financial inclusion organization with a mission to serve the underserved middle/lower-income segment in India. The role involves developing and improving monitoring systems, troubleshooting production issues, building automation tools, enhancing continuous delivery pipeline, and automating system configurations. The candidate should have 2-4 years of professional experience, strong automation/scripting skills (Python/Ruby is a plus), in-depth experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, familiarity with continuous integration and deploy tools, and an independent ownership attitude.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience
• Strong automation/scripting skills (Python/Ruby is a plus)
• In-depth experience deploying and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Experience with continuous integration and deploy tools (Jenkins is a plus) and familiarity with configuration management tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems
• Troubleshoot and fix production outages and performance issues
• Build automation tools for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using GCP and AWS Cloud Services
• Contribute to enhancing and managing the continuous delivery pipeline
• Automate systems configuration by writing policies and modules for configuration management tools
• Enhance and maintain logs collection, processing, visualization, and alerting
