DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at SmartWays IT Talent Community, working on a small cross-functional team to take complex suite of products to the next level. The role involves coding and testing Kubernetes and AWS resources and services, and requires 4+ years of work experience in IT, solid knowledge about building platform software using Kubernetes or Docker, Linux system administration, writing automation scripts, Agile problem-solving approach, analytical mindset, excellent communication skills in English.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or similar
• 4+ years of work experience in IT, preferably as a Software Engineer/System Admin/DevOps Engineer
• Experience with AWS solutions
• Solid knowledge about building platform software using Kubernetes or Docker, Cloud-native technologies
• Strong familiarity with Linux system administration, with the ability to program using Python or Java
• Experience in writing automation scripts, using Bash
• Agile, systematic problem-solving approach
• Analytical approach and mindset with the ability to get things done
• NO FEAR to propose and implement changes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
