Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience with Linux system administration in multiple Linux distributions (e.g Ubuntu, Redhat, CentOS)
- Experience deploying and operating services based on Linux containers and virtualization (Docker, etc.)
- Proven understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, data, integration, and application layers
- Hands-on dev experience in one or more programming languages - Python, Golang, etc
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies
- Experience with configuration management systems
- Experience in optimizing Linux production environments for performance
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the evolution of our product infrastructure by designing and refining build, deployment, and boot strategies to ensure innovation and robustness
- Oversee the seamless integration of our product into a cohesive appliance. Take charge of the administration and optimization of the underlying Linux OS, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Supervise and enhance host services, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency in support of our product's operational needs
- Manage and optimize our primary containerization engine, Docker, which powers the Axonius application. Ensure that containerized environments are scalable, secure, and efficient
- Design and implement comprehensive installation, upgrade, and patching mechanisms. Provide our operations engineers with cutting-edge tools and processes to maintain system integrity and performance
