DevOps/SRE

Summary

Join Encora as a DevOps Engineer and significantly contribute to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate emerging technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices. Provide expert guidance to project teams and drive the adoption of cloud platform capabilities. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil. The role requires hands-on cloud experience and proficiency in scripting languages. You will be involved in setting up CI/CD pipelines and working with containerization tools.

Requirements

• Have experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on Cloud experience
• Have proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, or Python)
• Have experience setting up Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools for automated deployments
• Have proficiency in Python
• Have experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Have experience working in Agile teams, advocating for DevOps best practices, and continuously improving infrastructure
• Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Make a significant contribution to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Evaluate emerging technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices
• Provide expert guidance to project teams across the organization
• Drive the adoption of cloud platform capabilities in collaboration with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Have familiarity with DNS, load balancing, IAM, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices
• Have experience using Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or similar tools for system monitoring and alerting
• Have familiarity with AWS, GPC and Azure and On-premise deployments
• Have experience with Kubernetes packet managers (e.g. Helm, Kubectl)
• Have experience with configuration management tools
