Join MEDFAR Solutions cliniques, a healthcare revolutionizing company, as a DevOps Specialist. You will play a key role in the R&D and Innovation department, collaborating closely with product and architecture teams. This remote/flexible position, based in the Greater Montreal area or Quebec with quarterly office visits, involves designing, implementing, and evolving DevOps practices. You will improve infrastructure and software, participate in automation, and be part of an on-call support team. The role requires extensive DevOps experience, Azure expertise, and strong CI/CD knowledge. Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, systems administration, or a related role in software engineering
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its on-demand infrastructure capabilities
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code, Terraform) principles
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipeline concepts, containerization, and deployment orchestrations (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Mastery of network infrastructure management, DNS and VPN management
- Advanced knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, ServiceBus, Kafka) and advanced knowledge of logging and monitoring systems
- Mastery of PowerShell and the .NET technological environment
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French
Responsibilities
- Occupy a central role in the design, implementation, and evolution of the company's DevOps practices
- Improve our infrastructure and software by collaborating closely with architecture and development teams to identify and provide improvements that strengthen site availability through scalable, secure, cost-effective, and resilient architectures
- Participate in the design, deployment, and optimization of development and production infrastructures
- Participate in the automation of DevOps processes and the application of best cloud practices
- Participate in the implementation and evolution of our monitoring and alert infrastructure
- Be part of the balanced "on-call" support team to maintain the availability and reliability of services
- Manage incidents and emergency interventions, track outages, ensure data integrity, and participate in version management to promote safe, efficient, and rapid deployments
