Summary
Join Encora as a DevOps Engineer and significantly contribute to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate emerging technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices. Provide expert guidance to project teams and drive the adoption of cloud platform capabilities. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil. The role requires hands-on cloud experience and proficiency in scripting languages. You will be involved in setting up CI/CD pipelines and ensuring system monitoring and alerting.
Requirements
- Experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on Cloud experience
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, or Python)
- CI/CD Pipelines & Automation – Experience setting up Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools for automated deployments
- Networking & Security – Familiarity with DNS, load balancing, IAM, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices
- Monitoring & Observability – Experience using Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or similar tools for system monitoring and alerting
- Scripting & Automation – Proficiency in Python
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Agile & DevOps Mindset – Experience working in Agile teams, advocating for DevOps best practices, and continuously improving infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Make a significant contribution to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices
- Provide expert guidance to project teams across the organization
- Drive the adoption of cloud platform capabilities in collaboration with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AWS, GPC and Azure and On-premise deployments
- Experience with Kubernetes packet managers (e.g. Helm, Kubectl)
- Experience with configuration management tools
