Join eScribers, a leading court reporting and transcription company, as a Digital Court Reporter contractor. Compensation is on a per-project basis and includes a daily appearance fee, travel expense reimbursement, and commission on copy sales. We provide weekly pay via direct deposit and an onboarding process to help you get started. Priority is given to reporters who maintain excellent quality standards.

Requirements

• Complete a training program OR have previous reporting experience
• Have reporting equipment before onboarding
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Have experience or knowledge of legal proceedings
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
• Have a high-speed internet connection
• Have a reliable mode of transportation
• Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments
• Have your own reporting equipment

Responsibilities

• Appear in-person for local and travel jobs
• Take transcription work (for suitable candidates)
• Meet all deadlines
• Upload and download files and use other basic computer functions
• Maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of assignments
