Digital Designer

Summary

Join StartEngine, a FinTech leader, as a contract designer to create engaging visuals for company campaign pages. You will transform written content into infographics, collages, GIFs, and graphics, ensuring readability across various devices. Collaboration with the StartEngine team using Figma is key. This role requires creating still and video ad assets for diverse industries and involves working 10-20 hours per week. A design background and experience with infographics are essential. Proficiency in Figma, GIF creation, and video editing are preferred.

Requirements

• Must live and work in the United States
• Experience designing infographics, and assets that communicate information using typography and design best practices
• Background or degree in design
• Multitasks several projects and ability to submit outstanding work on ambitious deadlines
• Coach-ability and willingness to improve
• Ability to work 10-20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Take written copy and create infographics, collages, gifs, and graphics to help investors easily digest campaign pages
• Take creative liberties to identify compelling elements of a campaign page copy to create effective, dynamic visuals that are readable in multiple formats (e.g. computer, mobile, tablet)
• Use Figma to quickly collaborate on designs with StartEngine team
• Create still and video ad assets for companies in diverse industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to design in Figma
• Experience creating GIFs
• Some experience with video editing/animation creation
• Desire to create inspiring and compelling visual graphics
