Summary
Join European Dynamics as a Digital Identity Expert and contribute to maintaining technical specifications for digital identity protocols, creating user stories and acceptance tests, and participating in agile project management. You will engage in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings. Review deliverables and resolve defects, collaborating with various stakeholders. This remote position within the EU requires a master's degree in IT or a relevant field, along with extensive experience in digital identity standards, agile management, and technical architecture. Excellent English communication skills are essential. The company offers competitive remuneration, either on a contract basis or with a full benefits package.
Requirements
- Master degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT
- Minimum 6 years of specific expertise in digital identity standards and technologies (W3C, ISO, IETF, OIDF)
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience in Agile management (Scrum, Kanban, Lean project management)
- Minimum 6 years of specific expertise in Technical Architecture of Digital Identity Technologies (Blockchain, OAuth2, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in edition of W3C Verifiable Credentials Data Model (VCDM) 2.0
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in edition of IETF Verifiable Credentials specifications (Selective Disclosure JSON Web Tokens - SD-JWTs)
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in contribution to ISO/IEC Personal Identification standards (ISO 18013-5, ISO 18013-7, and the ISO 23220 series)
- Proficient in the design of Web Services and APIs
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, and JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS
- A Scrum Master certification is required
- Excellent command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Participate in maintaining technical specifications related to digital identity protocols, ensuring their effective implementation in software solutions
- Create detailed user stories and acceptance tests from overarching themes and features, breaking them down into manageable tasks suitable for a single sprint
- Engage in decision-making regarding the scheduling of user stories into designated sprints, ensuring priorities align with project goals
- Actively participate in project planning activities as well as daily stand-up meetings as part of the Scrum framework, maintaining agile best practices
- Contribute to sprint retrospectives, release planning, demos, and various other Scrum-related meetings to continuously improve team processes and deliverables
- Review deliverables and demonstrable product versions or software functionalities after the completion of each sprint, ensuring they meet quality standards and project objectives
- Assist with internal and external communication efforts to improve transparency and dissemination of information across stakeholders
- Aid in prioritizing and resolving defects or bugs, working closely with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers to ensure that issues are addressed promptly and effectively
