Digital Ingestion Associate

Summary

Join Open Up Resources as a Digital Ingestion Associate contractor to help bring high-quality curricula to K–12 schools nationwide. You will be responsible for editing and evaluating digital assessments, ensuring content accessibility and accuracy, and collaborating with remote teams. This role requires experience with content or learning management systems, fluency in digital publishing platforms, and strong attention to detail. The position is part-time, non-benefited, and virtual, with an estimated hourly pay rate of $35. Open Up Resources is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience with content or learning management systems
• Must be comfortable with and knowledgeable of Math and English Language Arts content
• Strong attention to detail
• Precise and effective communications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a virtual environment
• Ability to foster a positive remote team environment

Responsibilities

• Follow Product Team documentation and onboarding protocols to correctly edit and evaluate digital assessments into Open Up Resources partners platforms for Math and ELA content
• Evaluate the transformation of items from print to digital format and provide feedback to ingestion partners
• Ensure content meets best practices for accessibility
• Apply updates or corrections to existing content as needed and approved
• Maintain documentation systems to coordinate remote teams
• Review ingested content for accuracy
• Execute on a quality assurance process to ensure that the content has been correctly ingested and is functioning as intended
• Meet and communicate virtually with your project lead on a regular basis to ensure you’re meeting project milestones and timelines
• Identify issues with content ingestion and/or timelines before they become a problem

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in educational technology
• Demonstrated high-level of fluency and understanding in digital publishing platforms (Wordpress, Google Classroom, or other platforms that utilize a rich text editor)
