Summary

Join Derivative Path as an FX Sales Account Executive and market/sell our FX payments platform to financial institutions, expanding our customer base among leading regional and community banks in the US. This client-facing role requires a solid understanding of the regional and community banking industry's needs regarding FX and experience selling payments technology to banks. You will manage a sales territory, create a sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and provide product feedback. The position demands at least 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling FX or global payments technology platforms, achieving quota in community and regional banks, and a strong network within this industry. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. The salary range is $125,000 to $175,000, including commission and equity.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of enterprise sales experience selling FX or global payments technology platforms and quota achievement selling into community and regional banks
  • Strong rolodex in regional and community bank industry calling on decision makers for FX or global payments at such banks
  • Detailed understanding of the complete FX lifecycle, including electronic trading, liquidity platforms, execution, confirmation/matching, settlements, accounting, and reconciliations
  • Understanding of the challenges of payment processing, including correspondent banks, Nostro management, and payment mechanisms such as SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH
  • OFAC/BSA/AML regulations
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Understands sales qualification (Meddicc) and uses a consultative/value selling approach
  • Bachelor’s degree related to finance/economics/computer science

  • Forecast accurately
  • Provide feedback to the product org based on client/prospect meetings
  • Build a business case for feedback if needed
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the ongoing product roadmap of our FX payments offering
  • Travel to client/prospect meetings, conferences, and other industry events as needed
  • Conduct research through various methods, including client meetings, surveys, and market analysis

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dodd-Frank regulations related to FX Derivatives
