Summary

Join Axonius as the Director of IT Engineering and lead our global Corporate IT Engineering team. This strategic role reports to the Vice President, Corporate IT and requires a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for building and scaling high-performing teams. You will lead a multi-discipline team, designing, implementing, and supporting internal corporate systems. Responsibilities include managing systems and processes, developing strategic plans, implementing scalable identity and access management, and building stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large technical teams, managing corporate systems, and influencing senior management. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading large technical teams and projects, owning internal IT systems, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Corporate systems design, systems architecture, or other infrastructure technologies
  • 8+ years of experience in managing identity and access management tools, authentication protocols and access management processes
  • Expert knowledge of IT Infrastructure\system technologies and industry trends associated with productivity, cloud/SaaS, telecom, security, directory services, network, systems, conferencing, AV, communication, and end-user technologies
  • Prior experience with Corporate systems and user experience, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Zendesk, Atlassian and other systems
  • Communicating with a range of internal stakeholders in person, remotely, and in writing
  • Overseeing macOS and Windows-based enterprise environments that do not rely on Active Directory or on-site infrastructure, including the management of endpoint standards and processes for a global organization
  • Leading mid-size teams of geographically dispersed IT engineers and support technicians
  • Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and understanding of industry trends
  • Experience in process design, organizational transformation, and governance
  • Experience in managing business-critical and customer-facing systems
  • Strong understanding of public and private cloud architectures; experience with public cloud providers
  • Able to provide architectural technical input and general direction to engineering teams and support team members
  • Ability to work independently or through leading a team of professionals from critical-thinking workshops to the completion of mission-critical projects
  • Must be able to create design documents, system operating procedures & FAQs
  • 10+ years of experience in the world of IT

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global, growing team of Corporate IT Engineers
  • Manage the systems and processes, including but not limited to, strategy, planning, implementation, and ongoing support of business operations in alignment with budgetary compliance and driving efficiencies
  • Develop and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all corporate systems, endpoints and office infrastructure
  • Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure system designs meet existing and future requirements
  • Establish and develop strategic plans for implementing a scalable identity and access management model and automated processes
  • Assess and deliver IT products/services in alignment with evolving business needs and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and peers
  • Identify and drive delivery of opportunities for automation and process simplification
