Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering managers in a high-growth environment
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and efficiency across teams
• Experience building and maintaining high-scale, high-throughput cloud-based applications
• Proven experience in designing and managing distributed systems at scale, with a deep understanding of consistency, partitioning, and resilience in highly available systems
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and the ecosystem of operational tools associated with it
• Experience with implementing and maintaining SRE practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and incident management processes to ensure platform reliability
• Strong background in leveraging data and metrics to drive decision-making processes, with experience in setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering teams
• Experience in managing engineering budgets, including headcount planning, vendor management, and optimizing resource allocation across multiple teams
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, with experience implementing secure development practices and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience

• Develop and implement process improvements and software methodologies
