Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in private payer reimbursement within the US healthcare system with a focus on laboratory testing
  • Extensive background in precision diagnostic laboratories with proprietary products, ideally within companies offering proprietary cancer precision medicine tests
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and securing private payer coverage for innovative healthcare solutions
  • Familiarity with key figures in the private payer landscape and knowledge of private payer decision making dynamics
  • Drive Market Access\ Payor contracting in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to support business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to secure private payer coverage and contracts for Artera's precision diagnostic products
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at private payer organizations, including executives, medical directors, and reimbursement decision-makers
  • Drive negotiations with private payers to establish favorable coverage terms and reimbursement rates for Artera's proprietary products
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and growth within targeted geographic areas
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and payer guidelines in contract negotiations and reimbursement practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, compliance, billing, and regulatory affairs, to align reimbursement strategies with overall business objectives
  • Develop and implement metrics to track the success of reimbursement efforts and adjust strategies as needed to meet organizational goals
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities related to private payer reimbursement and managed care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a prostate company with a focus on reimbursement
  • Deep familiarity with one or more of the following US geographic areas: Southeast, Midwest, West
  • Proficiency speaking the Spanish language
