Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), test automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in QA tools and technologies such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, etc
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (C#/Java, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing QA team
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure alignment on quality objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, roadmaps, processes, and best practices
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and performance
- Drive the adoption of modern testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Oversee the execution of both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites
- Ensure thorough testing of products, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in QA and testing technologies
- Drive initiatives to modernize testing efforts, including the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and other relevant technologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Prepare and present reports on QA activities, quality metrics, and project status to stakeholders
