As the Director of Strategic Marketing, you will be crucial in shaping StrongDM's account-based marketing efforts, developing ABM strategies and programs, and creating go-to-market playbooks and supporting materials needed to support our ICP tiers.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role with a significant focus on ICP content development and account-based marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, specifically cloud security or identity
  • Experience with marketing and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mutiny)
  • Excellent communication skills, love writing, creating slides, comfortable presenting on webinars and trainings, and communicating through social media
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Creative thinking and strategic planning skills, with a detail-oriented approach to execution
  • A passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and messaging that communicates StrongDM's value proposition to our ICP
  • Gather market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use insights to inform the sales playbooks and messaging
  • Lead the creation of high-impact content that resonates with target audiences, including long-form papers, case studies, blog posts, and sales enablement materials
  • Design and implement effective go-to-market plans for product launches and ongoing promotions in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive demand, generate leads, and build brand awareness
  • Equip sales teams with the tools, resources, and training they need to sell StrongDM's products successfully, including competitive insights, key selling points, and objection handling
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to develop case studies and testimonials that showcase the success and impact of StrongDM's solutions
  • Support the planning and execution of events and webinars to engage prospects, customers, and partners
