This fully remote position, available in designated U.S. states, offers the chance to lead the development of AI tools that enhance healthcare revenue cycle efficiency and decision-making. You will define and execute the product vision and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and UX/UI. The role demands balancing customer needs, market trends, and business objectives while driving product development and delivery. You will manage the product backlog, ensure AI model integration, and continuously iterate on products based on user feedback and market needs. This position requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in healthcare, fintech, or SaaS product management.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of product management experience in healthcare, fintech, or SaaS, with a focus on revenue cycle management, billing, claims, or financial processes
  • AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles, and how they can be applied to solve business problems in the healthcare domain, especially within RCM
  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with revenue cycle management (RCM) processes, billing codes, claims adjudication, payer-provider relationships, and other key healthcare financial operations
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with engineering and data science teams to build AI-powered products. Familiarity with AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and API integrations
  • Strong Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent presentation and documentation skills
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and navigate complex business challenges
  • Customer-Centric: Ability to translate customer pain points and market opportunities into actionable product features
  • Proven track record of delivering AI-powered SaaS products
  • Experience managing the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, including backlog management, prioritization, and feature delivery
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and using metrics to drive product development
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare, Business)

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a clear product vision and roadmap for AI-powered solutions in healthcare, aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and refine product features based on market demand, user feedback, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that all AI product development aligns with the company's long-term strategy and drives tangible business outcomes
  • Regularly assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitive offerings to inform product strategy and innovation
  • Lead data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and insights to optimize product performance and user experience
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX/UI, and compliance, to drive the delivery of high-quality AI solutions
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring that user stories, features, and requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development
  • Ensure that AI models and algorithms are effectively integrated into the product and meet performance, accuracy, and scalability standards
  • Work closely with data science and engineering teams to refine AI models, improve product performance, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Continuously iterate on products and features based on user feedback, analytics, and market needs to improve value and impact
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth execution of product development and delivery
  • Clearly communicate product goals, timelines, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Maintain a user-centric approach in all aspects of product development, ensuring that the final product meets the needs and expectations of healthcare providers and patients
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and security teams to ensure that all product features and AI algorithms meet regulatory and ethical requirements
  • Develop and own the product roadmap for AI-powered revenue cycle management tools, aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Identify and prioritize features that leverage AI and machine learning to automate and optimize RCM processes, such as predictive coding, claim denial prediction, automated eligibility checks, and payment reconciliation
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure product strategies align with overall company goals and growth targets
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay on top of trends in RCM, AI technology, and healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback, user stories, and requirements from a wide range of stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and internal teams
  • Translate complex customer needs into clear and actionable product features for the development team
  • Regularly engage with customers to validate product concepts, refine solutions, and drive user adoption
  • Work closely with data and AI engineers to define AI use cases, build and deploy AI models, and continuously improve model accuracy and performance
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that product milestones are met on time and within scope
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Work with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare providers and revenue cycle managers
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to bring AI-powered RCM products to life, ensuring technical feasibility and a seamless user experience
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all product offerings meet regulatory and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for AI applications in the revenue cycle management space, keeping abreast of advancements in both healthcare and AI/ML technologies
  • Ensure that AI models and algorithms meet the unique needs of healthcare providers, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
  • Translate AI capabilities into clear value propositions for healthcare clients, focusing on cost savings, improved collections, reduced denials, and better compliance

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with AI ethics and governance frameworks in healthcare is preferred
