Summary

Requirements

  • Proven experience of several years in full stack engineering, focused on user experience of large scale data display systems
  • Proven ability to recruit, train and maintain star developers in America
  • Leader, technical mentor and a people manager with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on manager, who loves to write and review code, with hands-on experience in recent full-stack / front-end mapping technologies
  • Strong coding skills and a β€œget-things-done” approach
  • Ability to Engineer, design and develop large scale, high performance mapping components
  • Extensive experience in designing and building scalable frontend infrastructure, easily maintained and extended
  • Critical / First principle thinking - able to identify root causes of issues and tightly collaborate with all parts of the organization
  • Familiarity with recent technologies in the Full-stack / Front-end domain

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train and manage a team of star full stack engineers
  • Manage and technically lead America based teams in the field of full stack engineering
  • Lead the architecture, design and development of our mapping infrastructure
  • Technically interface with a large number of teams, and provide mapping services for our Dashboards, customer reports and, partners (as embedded widgets)
  • Participate in the development of our long term product vision
  • Collaborate with product managers, and be close to our business requirements and business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Mapbox infrastructure
  • Experience with data related technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Python, Scala, NoSQL and analytical databases
  • Experience with a cloud platform: GCP (preferred), AWS or Azure
  • Experience in data analytic and data analysis
  • Hebrew speaking skills
