Remote Director - Response (Debris)

Summary

Join our team as a Director, Response (Debris) to assist with the day-to-day management of the Response Unit, grow and oversee the company's Debris Monitoring business sector, and build relationships with state, local, and federal clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management or related fields
• 7+ years of experience in disaster recovery work with a focus on Debris Management
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-event activities with the Client and stakeholders
• Act as the engagement manager for assigned projects
• Supervise and mentor assigned staff
• Ensure all work is performed safely
• Provide management of operations including monitoring project budget
• Work with the hauling contractor to make sure debris removal efforts are accomplished efficiently and effectively
• Communicate project status and projected timelines to senior leadership throughout the project
• Ensure client project documentation is in accordance with FEMA policy
• Promptly resolve any contract, performance, or personnel issues
• Provide technical assistance to the Client in all phases of debris operations
