Summary
Join Precision for Medicine as an Associate Director, Proposals and Business Operations, playing a key role in coordinating and scaling the department for growth and global expansion. Support the Executive Director in managing the department, overseeing direct reports, and ensuring deliverables are met. Develop proposals, change orders, and contracts for clients, and assist in creating departmental processes. Support the optimization of pricing and text tools, contribute to sales goals, and train new employees. Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service. This position requires a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of relevant experience in a CRO.
Requirements
- Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline
- 12 + years proposal, contract and change order development experience within a CRO
- No routine travel is expected for this position; however, periodic local travel to clients and vendors may be required
- Master knowledge of industry standards relating to proposal development, change order development and contracts including budgeting, document language processes for creation etc
- Demonstrates mastery knowledge of relevant Precision for Medicine’s SOPs
- Exhibits high self-motivation, and is able to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment
- Consultative and collaborative approach when dealing with customers and internal team members

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of direct reports; manage workload and ensure deliverables are developed and delivered according to department best practices
- Development of deliverables such as proposals, change orders and contracts for complex and/or high-profile clients and/or urgent requests
- Assist in the creation of departmental processes related to Proposal development, RFI development, Change Order development, Contract development
- Support the continued evolution and optimization of the pricing tools, text tools and any other tools used by the department and broader teams for the development of proposals, change orders and contract budgets
- Support the achievement of company sales goals
- Support the training and onboarding of all new Business Operations employees
- Adhere to strict code of confidentiality as it relates to study subjects, sponsors, physicians, and policies and procedures of Precision for Medicine
- Provide excellent customer service to all parties involved in the clinical study process
- Perform other related duties as assigned
