Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in road construction, with a focus on grading operations
- Proven experience in supervising and managing road grading projects in Abu Dhabi
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, drainage systems, and road construction techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license in UAE
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed grading plans and specifications based on engineering principles and project requirements
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data for designing road grades and alignments
- Utilize software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) for creating grading plans and profiles
- Supervise and monitor grading operations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with construction teams, surveyors, and other stakeholders to address any on-site issues and ensure timely project completion
- Perform quality control inspections and assessments to verify that grading work meets engineering standards and project requirements
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams regarding grading techniques and best practices
- Identify and resolve engineering problems related to grading, drainage, and soil stabilization
- Recommend modifications to grading plans as necessary to accommodate site conditions and project changes
- Ensure all grading activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including grading plans, inspection reports, and as-built drawings
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed
