You will provide targeted content and insights tailored to DEI in sports topic areas, collaborating with a speakers bureau. The role requires expertise in DEI in sports, strong public speaking skills, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Requirements

• Current or previous role aligned with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activities driving qualifications as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in Sports Keynote Speaker
• Demonstrated subject-matter expertise and public speaking experience; ability to engage diverse audiences with authenticity and impact
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical, professional, or lived experience in relevant subject area accepted
• Public speaking, storytelling, adaptability, audience engagement, content development, time management
• Cultural sensitivity, emotional intelligence, professionalism, situational awareness, innovation, and thought leadership

Responsibilities

• Provides targeted content and insights tailored to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in Sports Topic Areas while collaborating with a Speakers Bureau (Keynote/Guest) as part of a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline/Category with the objective(s) of engaging audiences through expert knowledge, real-world experience, or motivational storytelling
• Delivers value by educating, inspiring, and energizing event participants
• Often aligned with the event theme or goals to reinforce key messages
• Speakers focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Sports—spanning inclusive locker room environments, gender equity in athletics, and race, identity, and representation—offer critical insights into building more equitable and culturally competent sports communities
• With expertise rooted in lived experience, institutional knowledge, and research-backed strategies, these speakers engage audiences through impactful storytelling, educational frameworks, and actionable guidance
• Their work supports athletes, coaches, and organizations in fostering inclusive team cultures, challenging systemic inequities, and advancing representation at all levels of sport
• Champions an organization's mission by providing expertise, insights, or humor that drives thought, action, and cultural relevance across audiences
• Craft and deliver tailored keynote presentations that communicate complex ideas with clarity and purpose; align content with audience needs and event themes

Preferred Qualifications

• Often develops supplemental content such as Q&A guides, learning materials, or companion digital resources
• Can support internal and external stakeholder engagement through pre-event planning and post-event integration sessions
• Roles may include panel participation, event moderation, breakout facilitation, and collaboration with brand or host initiatives
