CGS is hiring an entry-level Document Management Analyst/General Clerk to facilitate case closing processes and data archiving for Federal Records material. The role involves organizing documents, helping attorneys prepare for trial, and performing various document management tasks. Requirements

  • One year of experience on major litigation support projects or an undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including data processing environments, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems
  • Strong document review skill set
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must be a United States citizen

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the case closing process and data archiving of Federal Records material
  • Helps attorneys prepare for trial
  • Performs document acquisition-related tasks
  • Conducts database searches
  • Collates and reviews evidence in newly submitted claims
  • Reviews claim-related evidence, database management, and accurately documents the steps per guidelines
  • Assists with case management activities on an as-needed basis
  • Filing, retrieving, and copying case file materials
  • Creates witness binders
  • Prepares deposition and trial exhibits
  • Enters data online to case files and other databases
  • Proofreads, edits, and corrects OCR'd text files
  • Retrieves and blows back documents and digital image media
  • Tabs, numbers, labels, and assembles documents
  • Fills out log sheets and reports on task progress
  • Performs quality control on the work of peers in all assigned areas
  • Ensures that formats of documents to be filed meet applicable requirements
  • Assists attorneys and support staff as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment
  • Automated litigation support experience
  • Experience working with claims
  • Current or active clearance
