Summary
Join Mae, a venture-backed digital health company, as their Doula Experience Specialist! This unique role focuses on building and maintaining a nationwide network of doula partners. You will manage internal workflows, cultivate external partnerships, and represent Mae at community events. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for Mae's mission. This position requires managing multiple stakeholders, delivering presentations, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of doulas. The role reports to the VP of Marketing and Doula Enablement and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- Project management background & efficient management of multiple projects and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and adherence to timelines
- Strong time management skills and ability to work at a fast pace
- Experience managing multiple conversations between various stakeholders
- Exceptionally organized and process oriented
- Thoughtful, strategic, and efficient
- Eager to learn new systems and lead/teach relevant stakeholders
- Personable and able to collaborate with range of people and personalities
- Comfort presenting to various audiences (CBOs, MCOs)
- Strong, proactive, and responsive verbal and written communicator
- Experience working in fast-paced, start-up, or non-profit environments
- Collaborative teammate who is also proactive and independently motivated
- Comfortable working remotely
Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external communication to ensure the maintenance of a satisfied doula network
- Identify doulas to develop network in new markets
- Develop and deliver presentations to prospective doulas and community based and plan partners
- Maintain a detailed understanding of our Product, processes, and educational materials
- Ensure proper utility of Mae’s Product and support doula education, training, and troubleshooting
- Daily reconciliation of internal management tools tracking user feedback and administrative needs
- Own administrative support of all doula onboarding - state and internal (experience with data entry and state Medicaid systems a plus)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage network success and ensure network capacity
- Represent Mae at community and doula-facing events
- Support the establishment of strategic processes to streamline management of Mae’s doula community
- Support insurance plan partner conversations as they pertain to doula network capacity, growth, and strategic scale-up
