Requirements

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Proven experience in drafting and design, preferably in the construction or industrial sector
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Experience with Tekla software is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics
  • 2-3 years of Estimating experience within the construction industry
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for remote work
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and detailed renders and drawings for mezzanine flooring proposals
  • Utilize Tekla CAD software and other design tools to develop layouts, elevations, and 3D visualizations
  • Collaborate virtually with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and client requirements
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, communicating changes effectively through remote tools
  • Conduct takeoffs from client-supplied drawings
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for mezzanine flooring projects, considering material, labor, and other relevant costs
  • Work with the sales team to integrate estimates into proposals and quotations
  • Analyze project specifications and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing
  • Assist in compiling and preparing comprehensive proposals and quotations, ensuring all technical and financial information is accurate and presented clearly
  • Maintain up-to-date records of proposals, quotations, and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing digital calendars, and preparing sales materials
  • Coordinate and participate in virtual internal meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a sales support or facilitation role is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with experience in remote collaboration tools
