DTP Associate

Summary

The job is for a DTP Associate in LanguageWire's Valencia office. The role involves handling projects, coordinating with teams, pre- and post-processing files, ensuring quality, and assisting in bigger projects. Requires good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Adobe tools, understanding of DTP terminology, very good English skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Good knowledge of Adobe tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Standard understanding in regards to terminology and issues related to DTP
• Very good knowledge of English spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Handle simple layout projects
• Pre- and post-process files for translation
• Ensure customer’s quality expectations are met
• Handle specific assisting tasks as part of bigger projects handled by more senior colleagues
• Coordinate and interface with DTP and project management teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor/Master degree within a relevant area
