Responsibilities

  • Modify or create pages, reports, tables or custom logic in C/AL, AL, and Extensions according to requirements
  • Architect and develop or troubleshoot integrations between Dynamics platform and other systems to meet client requirements
  • Document features developed
  • Work with functional consultants to understand business process and client requirements
  • Relay status updates as needed to project managers and other team members
  • Write blogs on architecture and development topics to contribute to the Stoneridge blog
  • Provide architecture/technical guidance to customer and project teams
  • Provide technical guidance and estimates to Client Success Manager or Functional Consultant
  • Work with Functional Consultant to identify key test scenarios
  • Assist Functional Consultants with technical questions related to gathering, defining, and documenting requirements
  • Mentor and train team members
  • Identify client business processes in need of development work and document proposed solutions
  • Perform code reviews for team members and be open to feedback received in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot errors and performance-related issues
  • Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, advancements in technology, and Microsoft’s product offerings and enhancements
  • Periodically lead technical design and architecture sessions with clients and project team to gather and document project requirements for integrations, migrations, reporting and customizations for small to medium clients
  • Support Functional Consultants in translating business requirements into technical documentation
  • Debug error messages
  • Troubleshoot unexpected results based on customizations
  • Review and troubleshoot code of previous Developers
  • Meet with previous implementation Developers to transition knowledge
  • Foster and champion psychological safety and a positive team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of development experience
  • 1-5+ Years in Microsoft D365 Business Central implementations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field or related experience
  • Certifications in Dynamics platform
  • Advanced understanding of the Dynamics platform data structures
  • Advanced understanding of Dynamics platform functionality
  • Advanced understanding of version control tools
  • Familiarity across Power Platform and ERP Platform
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Experience with reporting tools
  • Experience with multiple versions of the product
  • Broad experience across application modules
  • Experience with many different clients and projects
  • Experience building APIs
  • Experience in the Azure stack
  • Ability to alternately work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
  • Years of experience are not required to be consecutive
