Summary
Join Gainwell Technologies as an Early Career Developer and contribute your skills to improve healthcare. You will help design, develop, and test application software, participate in technical architecture design, and collaborate with architects and developers. This role involves defining project requirements, developing functional specifications, and creating application designs. You will also develop technical documentation and test plans, supporting integration and deployment. This is a talent pool requisition; applying ensures priority consideration for future openings. Remote or hybrid opportunities are available for Washington DC, VA, PA, or MD residents.
Requirements
- Knowledge of appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software, with web service development knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of basic software design, development and implementation methodologies
- Basic data analysis and software testing skills to create requirements and test modifications and enhancements
- A team player with strong, effective written and oral communication skills with clients and more senior leaders
- Team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and leaders in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Help design, develop, install, test and document applications software β including server, client and web components
- Play a role in the design, documentation and delivery of technical architecture solution components
- Build the connections between application architects and developers to ensure the accuracy of design requirements and deliver ROI for clients
- Focus on the details as you help define and develop project requirements, functional specs and application solution designs for clients using the proper development methodologies and industry standards
- Play a role in developing technical documentation and test plans, and support integration and deployment
- Be part of a team of software developers who are helping advance Gainwell and client objectives
